Lethbridge Pregnancy Care CenterBaby Bottle Campaign continues, virtually!! Did you know that of the 1,000+ client visits to the Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre last year, 700 of those visits involved the clothing room? Part of the Centre’s commitment to its’ clients is to be there for them, regardless of the decision made and for those who choose to carry to term, this can involve helping with maternity and baby clothes. Thanks for being a part of this practical support to women and men in our community facing an unexpected pregnancy. The campaign this year runs through to Father’s Day (June 21st), but donations towards the campaign can be made at anytime. Make your donation here by credit card and watch our virtual baby bottle fill up! You can also send your gift via e-transfer to giving@lethbridgepregcentre.com, with Baby Bottle 2020 in the message or mail a cheque to the LPCC. Like our Facebook page, Friends of the LPCC, and stay updated with the latest happenings within the Centre, as well as with this fundraising campaign. Thank you for impacting our community! Teen Challenge CanadaVirtual Golf Classic This summer, all across Canada, Teen Challenge Canada is hosting Virtual Golf Classic events and raising funds to help men and women caught in addiction find freedom, and you can be a part of it! Each virtual golf event is 6 weeks long, while raising funds to support local Teen Challenge Canada centres and the regional work they do, for those who come to their doors with life-controlling addictions. The Alberta Men’s Centre Virtual Golf Classic will be raising funds from May 15th to June 30th to support the work of Teen Challenge in the province of Alberta. Each Virtual Golf Classic participant is encouraged to raise $500 but challenged to raise $1,000, which will raise the much-needed funds to help more men receive the addiction rehabilitation help they need. This year we will have all three golf tourney’s from Edmonton, Calgary and Lethbridge, join forces and come together in the fight against covid in support of the fight against addiction. Our goal collectively is to raise $180k. Contact your family, friends and associates to help raise your support through our online fundraising tool. It is easy to register, announcing your participation and raise your supports by sending emails to your contacts. Consider registering and start fundraising today! It is easy as 1, 2, 3, to start changing lives of those in addiction. You can make a difference today!

Church at HomeBeing the Church While We Are Apart As we continue through the book of Acts, we will see various pictures of how discipleship works in the lives of those who believe in the good news about Jesus Christ. This week, our text is Acts 17:1-15 and we will see how a growing disciple of Jesus Christ will live in a responsive posture to God's Word. If you missed last week's message or Church at Home service, please visit the sermon page. |
