WitnessThe Book of Acts (Part 5) We have been journeying through the book of Acts for some time, and now we find Paul is in Jerusalem. We recently read about how he was led to go there by the Holy Spirit (Acts 20:22), but for what reason? Paul went to Jerusalem to bear witness for Jesus Christ. The rest of the book of Acts describes the way that Paul maintained this persistent witness for Jesus - in the midst of challenges and in front of numerous people. This is where our stories line up with Paul's story. The Spirit led Paul into circumstances that gave him the opportunity to witness for Jesus Christ. The Spirit leads us into similar circumstances so that, as Jesus' disciples, we are able to go into the world to bear witness for Jesus Christ. We are sent into the world to bear witness for Jesus Christ. There are challenges and nuances about bearing witness, but every follower of Jesus is called to this privilege and responsibility. Through this series, we can ask questions like: Please join us as we walk together to discover how we can bear witness for Jesus in our world. July 26 - Witness- Acts 21:27-23:11 For more infomation visit:

Worship Services During COVID-19Frequently Asked Questions About a month ago, we resumed our Sunday morning worship services. Church leadership created a plan that sought to follow the Government of Alberta's guidelines for reopening places of worship during the pandemic. Since we have reopened, there have been some frequently asked questions about how the services work in this time. We hope that answering some of these questions will help those coming to worship with us to understand some of the decisions and approaches of our current worship service plans. Do I have to check in every week to secure my seat? Do I sit in the same spot each week? Is it mandatory that I wear a mask? Is there offering? There are also online options to accommodate your giving: online through website (www.taberefc.ca); TEFC APP; etransfer (give@taberefc.ca - no password required); Text to give at (855) 463-8983 Is there children’s ministry offered? Is there coffee/ tea / refreshments available? For more infomation visit: https://www.taberefc.ca/news/worship-service-relaunch-covid-19-update-june-2020
