As the pandemic continues and we experience a more fragmented life with each other, we can remain in prayer for one and other.  Please pray for the following people and needs this week:

Congregation

  • Gail Braun who is continuing to undergo cancer treatments.
  • Clay Penner who is being treated for leukemia.  The doctors are encouraged with his progress, but there is still a long road for Clay in his treatments
  • Linda Valee who has concerns over her health

Community

  • Pray for our province as COVID cases continue to be a concern
  • Pray for our provincial and local leaders who aim to manage these growing concerns

World

  • Nicaragua is reeling from catastophic hurricanes that have hit the country.  This is from Rob and Leslee O.:

Nicaragua needs prayer. It is being hit right now no by a second hurricane in two weeks . The devastation is unbelievable. The stories are heartbreaking. We are in quarantine, stranded actually(it’s storming in our house). I have contacted Laura, she is helping put out a request for relief donations. We are not sure what that looks like yet because the hurricane storm is still underway. Most of our farmers are wiped out . Jinotepe and many cities are underwater. Friends homes washed away. Our pastor and his wife just rescued an elderly couple whose house washed away. They are now in a shelter at our seniors home. We need help. Please put Nicaraguan people in your prayers . If anyone you know wishes to help financially with relief efforts they can send it to us or through efccm. Thank you God bless, Leslee
