Due to the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the province, updated regulations were issued from our government.  Some of these new restrictions affect how we are able to conduct our worship services.

Please note that the leadership at Taber EFC seeks to remain in compliance with the our provincial governing authorities (as per Romans 13:1-7).  The leadership also takes seriously the needs of our community in this time and our continued call towards helping others follow Jesus.  Taber EFC will continue offering worship services and other in-person ministries to maintain a caring presence for our people and our community.

1. Worship services will continue, but with the following adjustments:
Our worship service capacity is now 49 people.  Services will still be offered at 9:00am and 11:00am.  We ask that all those who want to attend to reserve a place by doing one of the following:

Visit www.taberefc.ca and click “Plan Your Visit” (at top or bottom of the page)
OR
Call 403-223-2214 to reserve a place

Worship services will still be recorded and posted on www.taberefc.ca.

Once a service reaches our permitted capacity, we will no longer be able to allow people into the building until the next offered worship service.

These restrictions bring an additional challenge to our weekly worship services, but Taber EFC desires to continue offering a place of worship and an environment of support for our community.  Due to the limits in capacity, we ask that you consider viewing the worship service online in order to allow others to attend who do not have access to an online service.

2. Lifegroups and youth ministry will continue in the ways that were outlined in our last update.

3. What about the Christmas Eve service?
After careful considering, the leadership have agreed to adjust some of our rhythms of the Advent season.  Normally, we offer a candlelight service on December 24.  However, in the spirit of accommodating the most people possible, we will observe this time on December 20 in the morning worship services.  These services will commemorate the fourth Sunday of Advent at the beginning of the service and then we will light the Christ candle and participate in the candlelight sharing at the end of this service.
